I drew my inspiration from a variation of short films and children's animations as the squashing and stretching and the simple movement are a great incentive to how they move in real time as well as that cartoon feel. The bread uses many techniques in the story as well as the movement using showcasing and slow in and slow out to create action. It was really well done in my opinion.
Using anticipation as well as slow in and slow out to showcase cubey jumping up and down and the squash and stretch as be bounces through the air.

Using the following principles, I created follow through as he glides along the floor as well as slow in and out, for the stretch glide across the floor.

Using squash and stretch again here but making cubey look like he’s jelly and coming back to form, I used staging to create the move, It brings attention to cubeys form and how cubeys been moving around the scene. Straight up and down on the curve editor to appear that hes stretchy but not too jelly and an formed.
The last principle I focused on was the straight-ahead action pose to pose. I created a scene for cubey to make a small jump but big enough to rotate him so it appears he is on stage and finishing his act.
I went back through with a fine tooth comb and exaggerated his stretch and made it more balanced as he falls and does a dance. This made it much more cartoon like.
I added 4 highlights 2 gold colours and 2 whites to add some dimension and some spotlight on cubey and panned the camera to face to the side so you see all of his movements.
